Spoolie Brushes - 4 pack

Ages ago, I learned of a nifty brush-like tool. It would allow you to gently brush away floss threads in the sad event you have to clip out embroidery stitches. However, after searching high and low, I could never find a resource to buy one.

Then I discovered spoolies. Basically these things are mascara brushes minus the mascara. Makeup artists use them for hygenic eye makeup application. But, they also work great for stitching rescues.

Sometimes it's just too much of a hassle to unstitch a mistake when you're hand embroidering. Just clip those stitches and brush the floss out. Spoolies are gentle enough not to damage most fabrics, but strong enough to snag the fibers.

They are also fabulous for reaching into the nooks and crannies of the bobbin case on your sewing machine. They're bendy, but gentle, and grab dust like a champ.
