Sashiko stitches are stacked on a long needle and the needle is pushed through the fabric using the palm of your hand. It is a meditative process that produces striking results.
This beginner's kit includes everything you need to get started: navy cloth pre-printed with the hana-zashi (flower) design, a skein of white sashiko thread, two sashiko needles, thread snips, and an adjustable leather palm thimble.
