Olympus Sashiko Thread – orange

Made in Japan, Olympus Sashiko Thread is premium thread for creating sashiko designs. Each hank provides 22 yards (20.11 m) of thread; enough for a small sashiko project. 

Sashiko thread has a particular matte quality and soft hand that is difficult to recreate if you substitute other types of thread. It has a different twist and strand structure than similar threads such as perle cotton and crochet/tatting thread, which makes it superior for the task of sashiko stitching.
