No More Frantic: Time Management for Creatives

It feels really cringey to tell you but I used to teach No More Frantic for organizations and events at $200/hr (humble-brag much, Stephanie?). This is that workshop in book form. I offer no instant miracles. You will have to put in some effort. But I have observed and worked closely with many brilliant, creative people, and I have found the simple principles I write about and teach are often unknown or forgotten. My goal is to enlighten and remind so you can put what works for you into practice.

This content has helped me reframe my relationship with time, and I'm an artist... as you may have deduced from the fact that you are on an ecommerce site for goods related to textile arts. The point being, I know, from personal experience, the kinds of challenges creative people face. Particularly when it comes to managing time and working - as the old adage goes - smarter, not harder.

I have presented this workshop to writers, visual artists, artisans, actors, musicians, and all kinds of other people who create fantastic stuff with their talents and passions.  I have had more than a few Sally Field moments when people thank me after a class or workshop because things I teach are helpful. 

I'm not a girl boss or a mompreneur. I'm a what-you-see-is-what-you-get, Gen X, textile artist who is passionate about helping other creative people avoid the same mistakes I have made over the past half-century. No gloss or thought-leader vibe. Just practical advice and guidance that has been useful for real live people. 

My artist life has always shared space with by my profession, which is instructional systems development and adult learning. Workshops like No More Frantic are my favorite things to teach because they connect my logic-based systems skills with my creative practice.
