In a previous life I ran a decorative arts business, called Kitty Black Designs I sold funky mixed media jewelry, mosaic-covered things, and other cute off-beat, handmade items.
I recently found a few pieces in storage. This gem is a small, distressed wooden tray with a mosaic top. A happy, vintage china dolphin pops it's head up from the surface. I've kept a similar one for myself to use as a jewelry tray and the head is handy for draping bracelets and necklaces over.
It measures: 9.5" x 7.5" and the dolphin sticks up about 2.75" and is signed Kitty Black 2003 on the bottom.
