Alex Anderson's 4-in-1 Tool
I love a multitool, y'all. The less stuff to cram in your sewing basket or project bag, the better, right?
Alex Anderson's 4-in-1 Tool features a stiletto, a seam ripper, a presser end, and a turner end. The center section is also squared off to keep it from rolling away.
If you've never used a stiletto as a tiny, heat-resistant "finger," you don't know what you're missing! I do quite a lot of hand applique and it's perfect for holding edges of small shapes while you press with an iron. No more burnt fingers.
The stiletto is also great for helping guide and pivot tiny, or fiddly, seams through your sewing machine where your fingers won't reach. Or where you don't want them to, like close to the needle!
The turner is great for poking turned corners out cleanly and without jabbing through the fabric or stitching. It is also nice for burnishing down adhesive, such as Wash Away Wonder Tape. It is even helpful for stuffing.
The presser is also a thing of beauty. Instead of finger pressing and potentially stretching your fabric, you can glide the flat tip of the presser over a fold, et voilá... nice, crisp edge.
Finally, you may think you have enough seam rippers but... do you? Can you find one right this second? I can! It's with my stiletto, presser and turner. 😄
Convinced you yet? They're not paying me. I just like this tool that much!
